Dr. David Cooper personal life mission is to give hope in Christ.
He has a unique manner of sharing biblical truth in a simple, down-to-earth style.
He serves as Senior Pastor of the 10,000 plus member Mount Paran Church in
Atlanta, Ga.
He holds the B.A. in Psychology from Lee University; the M. Ed. in
Counseling from the UGA; and the Doctor of Ministry (D. Min.) from Erskine
Theological Seminary. He has served as a
member of Church of God International Executive Council. He is a member of
the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and is a
LAPC in the State of Georgia. He serves on the Chaplain's Prayer Committee for
the Georgia State House of Representatives.
Dr. Cooper is the author of the 13 books including For Better, Not Worse; Seven Stepping Stones to Success; Repurposing Your Life; Timeless Truths in
Changing Times; 10 Steps Toward a Better Life; and Get A Grip!
Dr. Cooper is a featured speaker for businesses, schools, conferences
and churches where he speaks on leadership and success motivating listeners
to reach their full potential.
He is a guitarist, singer and songwriter and performs his original music
with the band Open Door for churches, festivals and prisons. His solo CD Stand!,

His messages are featured on the radio program, Discover Life and
Streaming Faith website and streamed live Sundays at www.mountparan.com.
He and his wife Barbie have two children, David Paul and Charlsi Lynn. His
personal hobbies and interests include running and strength training, basketball
